Amen! Amen! Amen!

 2 Corinthians 1:20 For Christ is the "yes" to all God's promises. That is why it is by Him that we say "Amen" to glorify God. Are we certain to receive the fulfillment of all God's promises? This word emphatically says "yes". Because it is Christ who qualifies us for all God's promises.

Christ means Messiah, or Savior. When we believe that Jesus is our Savior, we are saved from all condemnation of sin, and made righteous by God. Christ makes us worthy and entitled to receive all that God promises because Jesus is the one who endured all the punishment that we should bear. There are no more obstacles for God to bless and fulfill all His promises in our lives. We can joyfully say "Amen" every time we read or hear God's promises.

By saying "Amen" we mean saying "May it be done to me as is said." Just like when Mary received the angel's words about the birth of Jesus. Or when Abraham believed in God that he would have descendants. And see if God really fulfills His promises? Yes! Especially now for us who live under God's grace. Moreover we can freely say "Amen" because nothing can stop God from fulfilling His promises to us. Amen! Amen! Amen!

The Power of Words

 Mark 11:20-21 Early in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. Peter remembered what had happened and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed is dried up.” In Mark 11:14, the Lord Jesus cursed a fig tree. He simply said, “May no one eat fruit from you ever again!” and the next day, the tree dried up from the roots. How powerful words are! Notice, when the Lord cursed the tree, it did not immediately appear to die. It was only the next day that the tree appeared to have dried up from the roots. Why was that? In the NKJV, verse 20 says, “the fig tree dried up from the roots.” From the roots. When the Lord spoke to the tree, death immediately occurred! It just wasn’t visible because the death occurred from the roots and wasn’t visible in the leaves. At the Highest and Lowest Points

 Matthew 3:16-17 After being baptized, Jesus immediately came up from the water and at that moment the heavens opened and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove on Him, then a voice came from heaven saying: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
