God Loves Us Down to the Smallest Details

Matthew 4:6 then said to Him: "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down, for it is written: Concerning You He will command His angels, and they will hold You up in their hands, so that Your feet may not strike a stone." After Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River, the heavens opened and a voice from Heaven said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Then, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. What did the devil say to Jesus? "If you are the Son of God..." There is one word that the devil has lost, namely the word 'loved'! The devil always wants to remove the feeling and awareness from within us that we are people who are loved by God, especially when we experience failure. Beloved, God loves us so much! We are the objects of God's love. If God takes care of the birds in the air, how much more so can we! God loves us in such detail, the Bible describes how God loves us. The hairs on our he...

At the Highest and Lowest Points

Matthew 3:16-17 After being baptized, Jesus immediately came up from the water and at that moment the heavens opened and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove on Him, then a voice came from heaven saying: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Jesus was baptized in the Dead Sea area, in the Jordan River. The Dead Sea is the lowest place on the entire surface of the earth, four hundred meters below sea level. When Jesus was baptized, the heavens opened and a voice from heaven said, “This is the Son that I love.” On the mountain, Jesus is glorified with Moses and Elijah. (Matthew 17) At that moment, the heavens opened again and a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son.” In the lowest place, at the Dead Sea, God the Father said, “This is my beloved Son.” On high, God the Father also said, “This is my beloved Son.” Not only when we are at the highest point in our life, but also when we are at the lowest point in our life, when we fall, when we do...

Jesus Meets Us Where We Are in Faith

Mark 5:28 For she said, “If I touch just His garment, I will be healed.” Have we ever thought about how the edge of Jesus’ garment could have the power to heal a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years? If it is true that Jesus’ garment could heal, then the existence of that garment would be something very valuable in this day and age. The truth is, it was not Jesus’ garment that healed, but when this woman said, “If I touch just His garment, I will be healed,” then Jesus would come down to the woman’s level of faith and heal her when she touched His garment. Each of us has a different level of faith. But what is amazing is that it is not our level of faith that determines, but rather the Person of Jesus who is willing to meet us at whatever level of faith we are at. Never should we think that in order to be healed we must have perfect faith that has never been shaken. Once again, it is not our faith that is the measure. Jesus is ready to meet us wherever our faith is. Amen!

The Power of Words

Mark 11:20-21 Early in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. Peter remembered what had happened and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed is dried up.” In Mark 11:14, the Lord Jesus cursed a fig tree. He simply said, “May no one eat fruit from you ever again!” and the next day, the tree dried up from the roots. How powerful words are! Notice, when the Lord cursed the tree, it did not immediately appear to die. It was only the next day that the tree appeared to have dried up from the roots. Why was that? In the NKJV, verse 20 says, “the fig tree dried up from the roots.” From the roots. When the Lord spoke to the tree, death immediately occurred! It just wasn’t visible because the death occurred from the roots and wasn’t visible in the leaves. So, don't be discouraged when we talk about our challenges and problems, and it's as if nothing has happened. Trust that we are talking to the root of the problem, and the manif...

Nothing is Impossible

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing is impossible.” Is there anything impossible that we are experiencing these days? When we face it, do we become weak and lose hope? Hold on to this word of God, for Allah nothing is impossible. Do we believe it? God has the power to make what does not exist into existence, so He is also able to make the impossible possible. We just need to believe and rest in that hope. God's promise is yes and amen. He is a faithful God, He will always fulfill His promises and because He is a good Father for each of us, His children. Trust everything to Him

Strength in God's Promise

Luke 1:37 For nothing will be impossible with God." By faith Sarah also received strength to conceive children, even though she was past her age, because she considered Him who had promised to be faithful. (Hebrews 11:11 ESV) When we believe God in His word, we are actually preparing ourselves for victory. In every word of God there is also the power to fulfill every promise. The Holy Spirit who brings life is present in every word that flows from God. Not only can it be trusted, the promise is a source of strength for us to use in facing every problem. So today when we decide to believe in His promises through the verses in God's word, it means that we have also agreed with God and we have unshakable hope and unceasing confidence. Believe God's promise! Speak it! Sing it! Remind ourselves of every word He has spoken to us. Our God is faithful, and what He says is true.

Fruit in Perseverance

Luke 8:15 “The seed on the good ground is the one who, when he hears the word, keeps it in a good heart and bears fruit with perseverance.” Are we waiting for God’s promises in our lives today? The Bible says that the seed that falls on the good ground “bears fruit with perseverance.” ‘Perseverance’ refers to patience and endurance. Do we know why perseverance is important in our walk of faith? Because it takes time for seeds to bear fruit. It doesn’t happen overnight. Just as a farmer patiently waits for the precious crop to grow, so too must we be patient (James 5:7). Our harvest will come in stages—first thirtyfold, then sixtyfold, then a hundredfold. When a seed is sown, we don’t see anything happening right away, but we know that it will sprout and grow. We don’t have to keep digging in the soil to see if it’s growing. In the same way, when the seed of God’s Word is sown, our part is to have faith in the power of His Word and be patient, because we believe that His word will ...

Make Jesus the center!

Exodus 27:21 In the tent of meeting, in front of the veil that covers the ark of the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall arrange it from evening till morning before the LORD. It is a statute forever for the people of Israel throughout their generations.” In Hebrew, the word ‘arrange’ here uses the word ‘arak’, which means ‘to arrange’, ‘to set or put in order’, or ‘to put in order’. What is being arranged? Its position. We pay close attention, in the Holy Place there is a lampstand. The Most Holy Place and the Holy Place are separated by a curtain. In the Most Holy Place there is the Ark of the Covenant, this is where God is. So the lampstand is in the Holy Place, installed to light what is in front of the lampstand. Who is in front of the lampstand? The Ark of the Covenant in the Most Holy Place, that is a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ! Ancient Jewish historians say that in the desert there could be shaking due to wind and so on so that the lampstand shifted from its original ...

The Great Plan

Genesis 45:5 But now do not be troubled or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life. In Joseph’s suffering, he saw God’s hand at work in all things and he understood God’s plan and desire to preserve his life. Let’s let go of our own perspective, surrender all our need to defend ourselves, complain, and control the situation to our Father. And capture the Father’s longing and heart. Indeed, our Father in heaven who loves us so much has a great plan for our lives and those around us. Trust that what we are experiencing now will not be in vain, but is a promise and glory of God that will be revealed in and through

Little by Little

Exodus 23:29-30 I will not drive them out before you in one year, so that the land may not be desolate, and the wild animals may not multiply over you. Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you are fruitful and may possess the land. God gives us our inheritance ‘little by little’ because God wants us to be strong first before He gives it all to us. God prepares everything for our good. Many people have been blessed beyond measure, then their wives are divorced, they forget about God and no longer go to church. In other words, the blessings that God gives do not help them, do not build them up, but instead destroy them. God knows when everything is best given to us, so that we can handle the blessings that God gives. So do not be disappointed, do not despair, little by little, the time will come when we will receive our inheritance more than what we think. God gives little by little until we are strong and ready to receive, so that when we receive our inheritance...

Tell Jesus

Galatians 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. How is a life led by the Spirit? All night long we can't sleep, worry, fear, anxiety, if God immediately moves us to pray, pray. Don't say, "Let's pray tomorrow morning." If we are worried, anxious, afraid, pray to God, surrender all our worries, anxieties and fears to God. When we come to Jesus, come like a child. "Lord, I am worried about my child, my child has started to rebel against me. Lord, I am starting to worry about my illness, the lump is getting bigger and bigger. I believe that God is fighting for me." Other people don't need to hear, just us and Jesus. Just by praying to Jesus, expressing all our worries, the more we open up to Jesus, we will feel that there is strength coming to us, something happens, we are no longer worried, we feel relieved. Tell it to Jesus, Jesus is more than just a friend to us.

Come to God Without a Sense of Sin!

Hebrews 10:22 Therefore let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. When we draw near to God, do not have any doubts about whether we are saved or forgiven. God loves us with an unconditional and never-ending love, because He gave His Son to die in our place as sinners, and fulfilled all the requirements of the law for us on the cross. In Christ we are no longer sinners, but we are forgiven and justified by His blood. Do not have a sense of sin anymore. If we still have a sense of sin – “I am a sinner, I am dirty, I am not worthy” – then it is as if we are saying “what Your Son did on the cross was not enough, Father.” God wants us to believe and draw near to God without any sense of sin anymore. We can come with courage, with a sincere heart and strong faith.

Strength Within Us

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Often times we get caught up in trying to bear all our problems in our own strength and effort. Let’s stop relying on our own strength. Because the truth is, it is only in Him that we can find the strength to get through it all! God wants us to walk with Him to find answers, balance, and fulfillment in our lives. God wants us to have time for work, play, family, friends, hobbies, and to enjoy Him. He also longs for us to be able to get out of the problems that are holding us back. We are not victims! We have indeed received the perfect package of His unlimited power and glory! He is on our side. Let’s step up and overcome every limitation and realize the great power of God within us!

The Father's Heirs

Galatians 4:6-7 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, who cries out: "Abba, Father!" So you are no longer slaves, but children; If you are children, then you are also heirs, by Allah. Do we know that we are precious children of the Father, and have been sealed with His holy Spirit? The Father loves to call us His own! The children He loves so much. Like any good parent, the Father looks at us and sees only perfection! The Father sees His reflection in us. There is nothing about us that can keep Him away from us. Even when our weaknesses are on display, the Father still declares us worthy, beautiful, and His own! Believe that we are the Father's beloved children and enjoy our relationship with the Father! Know that we are heirs of His kingdom and there are many more inheritances that He has provided for us to enjoy and manage!

The Secret of Favor

Esther 2:15 When it was Esther’s turn to go in to the king, the daughter of Abihail, the brother of Mordecai’s father, who adopted her, she did not want anything except what Hegai, the king’s eunuch, the keeper of the women, had recommended. So Esther was able to arouse the affection of all who saw her. When we know that we are very blessed, very favored, and very loved, we do not need to rely on our own efforts as in the story of Esther. While other women relied on the best clothes, perfumes, and accessories to beautify themselves before meeting the king, Esther did not rely on her own abilities but surrendered herself to Hegai, the official who had been appointed by the king to oversee the women, who knew the king’s heart best. This story shows us how Esther depended completely on God’s favor. When we depend completely on God’s favor, we are trusting in Him. Esther did not have to struggle. When she rested in the Lord and humbled herself, God lifted her up and exalted her above ...

God is the Source of All Our Blessings!

Daniel 4:37 So now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and glorify the King of Heaven, whose works are true and whose ways are just, and who is able to humble the proud. In the book of Daniel there is a king named Nebuchadnezzar. The Bible tells us that one day Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and Daniel interpreted it. The gist of Nebuchadnezzar's dream was that Nebuchadnezzar would grow bigger and stronger. But what happened? Nebuchadnezzar exalted himself. Nebuchadnezzar did not give glory to God. As a result, for 7 years, Nebuchadnezzar was exiled from humans, living among animals and eating grass. After seven years had passed, Nebuchadnezzar looked up to heaven, his mind returned, and Nebuchadnezzar praised, exalted, and glorified God. When Nebuchadnezzar realized and immediately admitted that heaven had power not because of its greatness and power but heaven, what happened? Nebuchadnezzar was immediately restored. His power returned, his greatness returned, Nebuchadnezzar sat back o...

Strong And Acting

Daniel 11:32b but the people who know their God will remain strong and will act. Is your longing today to walk in undeniable and irresistible strength, wisdom, and goodness? Do you want to see God's miracles and breakthroughs in your life? Let's continue to listen and grow in our knowledge of God's grace to us. In the story of Daniel, God, through an angel, called him "beloved" (Daniel 10:11). The more we listen and are convinced of His love for us, we will live life with a different courage and spirit that sets us apart from others and testifies to His power in our lives. Let's continue to read the words of His grace and listen to the messages of His grace, immerse God's love for us in our hearts and souls. His love will make us strong and act. When we know how much God loves us, we will bring down the monsters in our lives, and our lives will testify to His goodness and glory!

God’s Presence

1 Samuel 16:18 Then one of the servants answered and said, “I have seen one of the sons of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who plays the harp skillfully. He is a mighty man, a man of war, eloquent in speech, and handsome in form; and the LORD is with him.” David is an example of someone who was in constant communication with God and was always in His presence. From a young age, he tended his father’s sheep and always praised God with his harp. In 1 Samuel 16, when Saul was troubled by an evil spirit, Saul’s servants suggested that someone play the harp for Saul to make him feel better. One of the servants suggested bringing David. He said that David “played the harp skillfully. He was a mighty man, a man of war, eloquent in speech, and handsome in form; and the LORD was with him.” How did David come to have these qualities? Why did the evil spirit leave Saul when David played the harp? The key is in the last part of today's verse. "The Lord was with him." My brothers, let us alw...

an unshakeable source of strength and hope

Matthew 8:23-27 Then Jesus got into the boat and His disciples followed Him. Suddenly a storm raged on the lake, so that the boat was crushed by the waves, but Jesus was sleeping. So his disciples came and woke him up, saying, 'Lord, help us, we are perishing.' He said to them: 'Why are you afraid, you of little faith?' Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the lake, and the lake became very calm. And the people were amazed, saying, 'What is this man, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?'" Psalm 46:1-3 God is for us a place of protection and strength, as a help in times of trouble which is very evident. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth changes, even though the mountains shake in the sea; even though the sea is stormy and surging, even though the mountains shake with its waves." Isaiah 43:2 When you cross through water, I will be with you, or through rivers, you will not be swept away; if you walk through fire, you will not b...

The Holy Spirit is the Guarantee

2 Corinthians 1:20-22 For all the promises of God are “Yes” to Christ. Therefore through him we say “Amen” to the glory of God. For he who established us with you in Christ Jesus is God, who anointed us and sealed us with His seal, and gave us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee of all that is provided for us. When you are doubtful and wondering whether God will really fulfill His promises to you, know this, you have the Holy Spirit in you, and He is the guarantee of all that is provided for us. The Holy Spirit is not only a comforter and helper, but He is also the guarantee of all that God has promised. If you were a bank owner, of course you would ask for certificates or important documents that you could hold as collateral. And with this guarantee, you dare to spend some money to lend. You can be sure that the borrower will not run away with the money you lent, but will pay you back to get back the important documents or certificates that were pledged. The value of imp...

Yes

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God are “Yes” to Christ. Therefore through him we say “Amen” to the glory of God. Christ is the Son of God whom the Father sent into the world, who has finished His work until death on the cross. He has won and He has fulfilled God's promises for all of us. Only in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we may hold on to the fulfillment of all God's promises, because He has hidden nothing or withheld from us His children who believe in Him. When His word says “yes”, accept it with joy and there is no longer a word “no” to God's promises, if we agree, then we can see the promise realized in our lives.

Death to Sin

1 Peter 2:24 He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we, having died to sin, might live to righteousness. By His stripes you were healed. Jesus carried and bore our sins on the cross. When He died, we also died to sin. When He rose, we also live for the truth. Don't ever be fooled again by the accusations of the evil one. Hold the truth of this word and always say that we are righteous in Christ Jesus. This truth will set us free from every bondage and bondage. When Jesus died on the cross, it was not only sin that He carried, but also our illnesses. When He died, so did our illnesses "die" and be resolved, and in return, we received healing. His full stripes cover all parts of His body, have paid in full for every disease we have, a divine exchange truly took place. Accept it with believing faith, even though at this time we still see and feel "there is disease", but remember, God's truth is higher than what we see and feel, believe and ...

Jesus, the Light That Dispels Darkness

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” has also shone in our hearts, that we might have the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. Many people try in their own strength to fight against darkness, against addiction, depression, and bad habits. Today’s verse of God’s word says, “...light will shine out of darkness!” Beloved, the one who will dispel darkness is light! In this verse, it is God who says, “Light will shine out of darkness.” The Bible says that we have the light that appears in the face of Christ. In other words, when we see Jesus, we will have light. No matter how much darkness there is in our lives, sickness, fear, anxiety, depression, addiction, bad habits; keep reading and keep hearing God’s word! Keep attending worship every Sunday, always see Jesus in His words, then Jesus, the real light, will drive away all the darkness in our lives!

The Holy Scriptures Are a Ventilator (God's Breath) From Heaven

2 Timothy 3:15-16 Also remember that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures which can give you wisdom and lead you to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All writings inspired by God are useful for teaching, for revealing errors, for correcting behavior and for educating people in the truth. Paul said that everything written in the Holy Bible was inspired by God. The word inspiration here translated into Greek is theanustos, theanustos only appears once in the Bible, it is only used by Paul in this verse. Theanustos means God's breath, the breath of God. All writings in the Holy Bible are the breath of God! When Allah created humans, Allah formed humans from the dust of the ground, at that time humans were not yet living creatures, when did humans become living creatures? When Allah breathes into human nostrils, humans become living creatures. Humans become creatures that live because of God's breath. God's breath gives us life. Every time we open the Bible...

Believe the Gospel and See His Provision Flow!

Galatians 3:5 Now then, does He who gives you the Spirit and works miracles among you do it by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith? The phrase ‘gives you the Spirit and works miracles’ here is in the active participle, which means that God is actively continuing to give us the Spirit and perform miracles. There is no time when God does not give us the Spirit when we believe the gospel. The question is, does God do these things, giving us the Spirit abundantly and performing miracles, because we do the law or because we believe? By works or by faith? By faith! The law will make us look at ourselves. Grace always makes us look at Jesus. So look back to Jesus! God provides everything continuously for us because we have believed the gospel, by faith. When we believe in the preaching of the gospel, God's provision flows!

We Are Heirs Because We Are Children

Galatians 4:7 So you are no longer slaves, but children; If you are children, then you are also heirs, by Allah. Many believe that to receive God's blessing, we must continue to obey the law. If we do it seriously, God will fulfill His promise to us. If not, then God's promises will not come true in our lives. It is as if we are the ones who determine whether God's promises will be fulfilled or not in our lives. We are the judges. If we live under the law, that is right. But through Jesus, we who believe, live under grace. We no longer live under the law that demands our performance. Performance here is our actions, both before God and before humans. This verse says that if we hope for God's promises because of the law, then faith is in vain, and the promise is void. Because the truth is, no one can do it perfectly. Until Jesus fulfills it for us. Expect God's promises to be based on Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, not based on our deeds. Even if the act is good...

Transformed Into Ever-Increasing Glory!

2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, with unveiled face beholding in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, just as it comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. Do you long to see God’s transformation in your life? Today, all it takes is one thing: look to Jesus. Many think they have to do more to be more holy, acceptable, and beloved by God. The truth is, as we trust and continue to look to Jesus and see His love, His forgiveness, His abundant grace, and the gift of His righteousness given to us by His precious blood, we will be supernaturally transformed. Holiness is the product of our life’s focus on looking to Jesus in His grace. As we look to Jesus and receive His love and grace daily, our hearts are transformed from the inside out. This is not an outward behavior modification. This is a real change sustained by a heart touched by His grace and a conscience set free from guilt. This is the moment when fear begins to dissolve in...

If You Can Worry, You Can Have Faith

Job 3:25-26 For what I feared has come upon me, and what I was afraid of has come upon me. I have no peace or rest; I have no rest, but anxiety has come upon me.” We may underestimate the worries and fears in our hearts by understanding that fear and worry are normal as humans. Especially if it seems like the worries and fears are for something valuable or someone we love. Job felt the same way. Then look at what happened after he responded to his worries and fears? He felt restless, restless. He could not rest and was restless. Joshua 1:8 says, “Do not forget to speak this book of the law, but meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous and you will have success.” Worry and fear are the same as thinking about possibilities that have not yet happened continuously. What results is restlessness and anxiety. Meditating on God’s word has the opposite effect. Your journey will be succe...

Ask Boldly

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work within us In Joshua 15:17-19 there is an interesting story about Caleb's daughter named Achsah. Caleb gave his daughter to Othniel because Othniel had successfully captured Kiriath Sepher. But Achsah was no ordinary woman. She learned from her father who at the age of 80 dared to say, "Give me this mountain!" Achsah persuaded her husband to ask for a field from Caleb, her father. Not only that, she also went to Caleb to ask for a spring of water! And Achsah was given 2 springs, one upstream and one downstream. If we were in Achsah's position, we might think that marrying a great man like Othniel would be enough. But Achsah had the courage recorded in the Bible. Her courage to ask made Othniel receive more than he deserved. He received a wife, a field, and a spring of water to work his field. All just because Akhsa dared to ask her ...

Jesus, Our High Priest!

Hebrews 10:21 and we have a high priest at the head of the house of God. We have a High Priest. Remember carefully, since God gave the Israelites a High Priest, God judged the Israelites based on the existence of their High Priest. As was the existence of the High Priest, such was the case with his people. If the high priest is good, then God will bless the nation of Israel. If the high priest is bad, then bad will happen to his people. If the High Priest who enters the holy place can come out safely, then throughout the year what happens to his people will be blessings, good health, and no enemies. That's why Jewish tradition says that when a high priest entered the Holy of Holies, his feet would be tied with ropes so that he could be pulled out if he died inside. Hebrews 4:14 says that Jesus is our High Priest. Is Jesus good? Yes! Was Jesus pleased with God? Yes! So as Jesus was, so will happen to us. In our High Priest, Jesus Christ, our portion is God's blessing, health, p...

Ask

1 Samuel 1:17 Eli said, “Go in peace, and the God of Israel will give you what you have asked of him.” Elkanah, who saw his wife crying, tried to comfort her by saying, “Am I not more precious to you than ten sons?” But Hannah was still sad. She wept before the Lord, in front of the priest Eli who thought she was drunk on wine. Hannah had the love of Elkanah, her husband, which was more precious than ten sons. It was as if Elkanah wanted to say, “It doesn’t matter if you don’t have children, because you have me.” But Elkanah wasn’t enough for Hannah. Hannah really wanted a child. Hannah believed that God could give her what she wanted, so she cried out to God. It was the right step because our God wants to give us more than what we think and pray for (Ephesians 3:20). He wants to give us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). Psalm 62:8 says “Pour out your heart before His presence.” Let us come to him for he is our Father. He is a very rich God, owner of the universe, and He lov...

Jesus Is the Way Out!

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man. But God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able. But with the temptation he will also provide a way out, that you may be able to endure it. In dark and difficult situations like now, these three words are more than enough for us: for God is faithful! God is a God who is faithful to His promises. The next sentence says, “With the temptation he will also provide a way out, that you may be able to endure it.” So whatever temptation we experience, remember well: our faithful God will provide a way out for us! The translation of the word ‘way out’ here in the New King James Version of the Bible is the way of escape, not a way of escape. ‘The’ is a definite word, something that is certain. When we say: the way of escape, it means there is only one way of escape. Who is it? Jesus! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6) In other words, because God is fai...

Submit to the Obedience of Christ

2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every high thing that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. We take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. This passage speaks of the weapons of spiritual warfare. It says that our warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers of the air. This refers to the devil who tries to get us to take our eyes off Jesus and look at ourselves. There are times when we are bombarded with thoughts that tell us that we are unworthy, that we are not good enough, that we are still sinners. All of our problems are because we have not or have not obeyed. This verse reminds us to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. The original language says ‘to make it obedient to the obedience of Christ.’ Christ was obedient to the point of death on the cross for us. He bore all of our sins, trespasses, and shortcomings. If there is a thought that makes us look at ourselves, bring that thought to the obedience ...

Shut Up and Look

2 Chronicles 20:17 In this war you don't have to fight. O Judah and Jerusalem, just stand where you are, and see how the LORD gives you victory. Don't be afraid or surprised. Go out tomorrow to face them, the LORD will be with you.” When faced with danger or problems, our natural tendency is not to remain calm. We will think, try and work hard to find a way out. We can see that there are many stories in the Bible where when humans rest, God works. When humans work, Allah rests. Pay attention to the verse above, "... just stand where you are... and look..." God's first command to Jehoshaphat was for them to remain silent and watch. The same command God gave to Moses when he was about to cross the Red Sea in Exodus 14:13-14, "...stand still and see the salvation of the LORD." Notice the words ‘behold salvation.’ Who is ‘salvation’? Jesus! Jesus is Yeshua in Hebrew which means Salvation. In other words, when there is a battle to be fought, the best positio...

Beloved Children

Genesis 5:2 male and female he created them, and blessed them, and named them “Mankind” when they were created. Nothing in the Bible is written by chance. The long list of names and ages is not just a historical genealogy. It gives us a glimpse into the heart of God. Only a father who loves his children would take the time to name each one. God sees us and knows not only our names but also every movement of our hearts and every dream we want to fulfill. He knows the number of hairs on our heads and what we are thinking right now. We are desired and cherished. We are the beloved bride he has chosen for his Son. We are the ones Jesus died for. We are the temple he has chosen to house his Holy Spirit. There is nothing about us that is ordinary or uninteresting to him. He is so pleased with us that he created eternity so that our relationship with him would never end. Today, realize that we are part of God’s family. We are known, celebrated, and wanted. We have a Father who loves us u...

Far More

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power that is at work within us. Do you remember the story of the five loaves and two fish? In the hands of Jesus, five loaves and two fish could feed 5,000 men and even twelve baskets of leftovers. Do you remember the story of the leper who approached Jesus after Jesus finished preaching on the mount? He asked for healing, but Jesus touched him and then healed him. A touch was something that a leper could not possibly receive. But Jesus gave it. Do you remember the story of Lazarus who was raised to life? When his brothers called Jesus, they expected Jesus to come and heal Lazarus. But when Jesus came, Lazarus had already died. Was Jesus late? Yes, but He would give us far more than we asked for. Lazarus was not only healed, but he was raised to life. When Zacchaeus, out of curiosity, climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus, Jesus came to his house. The coming of Jesus made Zac...

God's Word Is the Source of Life and Healing

Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, pay attention to my words; incline your ear to my words; let them not depart from your eyes; treasure them up in your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body. We often ask how to find whole life and healing for our bodies. Proverbs reveals the secret and the way for us to find it. Paying attention to God's word is the answer. Paying attention means filling our hearts and minds with God's word. Many of the miracles of healing that Jesus performed in the Gospels began with people hearing the news about Jesus. The woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:27), Bartimaeus who was blind from birth (Mark 10:47), and the paralyzed man in Lystra (Acts 14:9), all received healing that began with hearing. Hearing the word of Christ will produce faith. Christ means the Messiah, the Savior. Jesus who died on the cross and rose to atone for our sins. Listening to the word of Christ means listening to the word of grace. Because gr...

Our Righteousness Is a Gift

2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Many people think that living for righteousness means doing the right thing, saying the right thing, thinking the right thing. Doing the right thing, saying the right thing, thinking the right thing is important. However, righteousness in the New Testament is a gift! He made Him who had no sin to be sin, so that we who are sinners might be made the righteousness of God through Jesus. God wants us to die to condemnation and condemnation so that we realize that we live as righteous people not because of what we do but because of the gift, because of what Jesus did. This is the good news. In it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.

Best Life

1 John 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son does not have life. As we live our lives, the question that often comes to our mind is "is my life the best I can have or live?" The best life is when we have the Son, Jesus. Galatians 2:20 says that we live, but not we who live but Christ who lives in us. Acts 17:28 also says that we live, we move and we exist because Christ is in us. Let us not focus on our shortcomings and weaknesses, but focus on Christ who lives in us. Let His love flow out through us. Let His health drive out our sickness. He is in us. That is the truth. And that is the life we have now. Amen!

The Holy Spirit, Our Seal

Ephesians 1:13-14 In Him you also, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit in Him when you believed. And the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance until we receive the full redemption of God's possession, to the praise of His glory. When we hear and believe the word of truth, the gospel or good news of salvation, we believe that Jesus died for our sins, His blood sanctifies us once for all, Jesus was raised as our justification, when we believe, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. This verse tells us how the Holy Spirit comes and dwells in us, how? Believing the gospel. Paul says, "Now then, does He who supplies the Spirit to you in abundance and works miracles among you do so by the works of the law or by hearing with faith?" (Galatians 3:5) Because we believe in the gospel message! The Holy Spirit is our guarantee that we are redeemed people and belong to God. Hallelujah!

Sing Thanksgiving for His Grace

2 Chronicles 20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise the LORD in holy attire as they went out before the army, saying, “Sing thanks to the LORD, for his steadfast love endures forever.” When the enemy before us seems so numerous and impossible to defeat, are we going to be busy looking for help left and right, calling left and right, browsing the internet for all the information available? When the enemy Jehoshaphat faced seemed so numerous, Jehoshaphat sought the Lord, and the Lord told him to be still. Does that mean Jehoshaphat did nothing? Of course not. Rest is not doing nothing. Rest is an activity led by the Spirit. In this verse, Jehoshaphat gathered together praisers to go before his army. Isn’t that strange? Notice what the praisers sang? They sang thanksgiving for God’s steadfast love! The word steadfast love in the original language is Hesed. Hesed is grace. They sing thanksgiving for God's grace! When we rest...

Supernatural Light

Exodus 10:22-23 Then Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was darkness throughout all the land of Egypt for three days. No one could see his neighbor, and no one could get up from his place for three days. But all the Israelites had light in their dwellings. One of the plagues that happened in Egypt was darkness. When darkness came over Egypt, the Bible says that there was still light in every Israelite home. We might ask, “What was so special about the light that the Israelites had in their dwellings? Couldn’t the light have come from candles or fire?” However, if the light that the Israelites had in their dwellings came from natural light such as candles or fire, couldn’t the Egyptians have had it at that time too? So in fact, the light that the Israelites had in their dwellings was supernatural light! God wants supernatural light in our lives, in our careers, in our marriages and families. It doesn’t mean that there are no challenges, problems or struggles. Cha...

Fullness in His Love

Ephesians 3:18-19 I pray that you may have power to comprehend with all the saints how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge. I pray that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Paul’s hope for the saints is that we all may understand and know the incredible love of Jesus. Imagine, the God who has called every animal by name, measured the seas in His hand, holds the mountains of the earth, and stretches out the heavens like a rolled-up tapestry, yet you are His masterpiece of love! You are the joy that moves His heart. Today, no matter what situation we are in, know that we are always safe in the grip of His love. Let our challenges lead us to greater faith and a more intimate knowledge of Him. Come closer and let God pour out the deep longing He has for our lives! Let’s experience fullness in our lives! Whatever we need, we can find it in knowing the One who loves us so much. He is our God, Savior, Father, Fr...

God Continuously Guides Our Lives

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. The word "works" in today's verse of God's word is in the active verb form (present active participle), which means that God is continuously working in us. The translation is, "For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." What does God do in us? The first is "will", willingness. God continuously works in us by giving us the will from within. That's why, be careful with prophecies. Be careful if someone comes to us and says, "God spoke to me so that you give me a house, and God will repay and give you two houses," that is manipulation in the name of God. If there is no will in us, don't! Furthermore, in the verse it says, "..nor work..", performance. When God works in us, God not only gives us the will, but God also gives us the ability to do it according to His will. So God works continuously in...

Amen! Amen! Amen!

2 Corinthians 1:20 For Christ is the "yes" to all God's promises. That is why it is by Him that we say "Amen" to glorify God. Are we certain to receive the fulfillment of all God's promises? This word emphatically says "yes". Because it is Christ who qualifies us for all God's promises. Christ means Messiah, or Savior. When we believe that Jesus is our Savior, we are saved from all condemnation of sin, and made righteous by God. Christ makes us worthy and entitled to receive all that God promises because Jesus is the one who endured all the punishment that we should bear. There are no more obstacles for God to bless and fulfill all His promises in our lives. We can joyfully say "Amen" every time we read or hear God's promises. By saying "Amen" we mean saying "May it be done to me as is said." Just like when Mary received the angel's words about the birth of Jesus. Or when Abraham believed in God that he wo...

Hold on to the Promise with Hope

Hebrews 6:19 This hope is an anchor strong and secure for our souls, which has been anchored even beyond the veil. Our life journey is like a ship that has the potential to be tossed by waves, both waves of teaching and various offers of the world, which make us doubt our future. But remember that Jesus has brought Himself as a sacrifice even beyond the veil, and because He offered Himself according to the order of Melchizedek as the High Priest once and for all, that is what the Bible calls a strong anchor, so our hope in Jesus will not shift forever. Keep hoping in what the Lord Jesus has accomplished for us, because even though the storm rages and the waves crash, God's Grace is a strong anchor forever.

Wait for God's Promise

Hebrews 6:15 Abraham waited patiently and received what was promised to him. God's promise is yes and amen, He is a faithful God and He never breaks His promises. Sometimes we feel that we have not experienced the fulfillment of the promise, even though we have been waiting for a long time. The question is, what will we do during that waiting and what is our attitude of heart? What we can do is to keep believing, and the right attitude of heart when waiting is patience, because God knows the best time for Him to fulfill His promise in our lives, without harming us. A car is a good thing and a great blessing for us, right? But imagine a child given a car by his father, while he is still in elementary school. Of course the car is not a blessing, but will bring harm because it was given to him too soon. The Father knows the best time to fulfill His promise, little by little He will entrust it to us, when we are ready to receive and are able to manage it without causing damage to our ...

Stepping Into God’s Provision By Faith

Ruth 2:15-16 When she got up to glean again, Boaz commanded his workers, saying, “She may glean from the sheaves; do not disturb her; you must deliberately pull off little by little from the bunches for her and leave them for her to glean; do not be harsh with her.” Just as when Ruth got up to look for provisions for herself and Naomi, Ruth saw a lot of grain scattered in the field and picked it up. Unbeknownst to her, Boaz, the owner of the field, had ordered his workers to deliberately drop the grain for Ruth to pick up. Beloved, believe that right now in all our endeavors, since we opened our eyes and got ready, God, our ‘divine Boaz’, has been pleased with us and ordered blessings to descend on every step we take. Like Ruth, let’s have faith and step into God’s provision. With the eyes of faith, see the doors of opportunity opening before us. Have courage, prepare yourself, and reap the blessings that God has provided in our lives.

Knowing You Properly

Job 42:5 I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You. Many of us have heard about God many times, but knowing Him personally is different from hearing from the hearing of the ear. That is why Jesus came as a man so that we could know Him personally. John 1 says, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” How can we know Him? Through the word of grace and truth. When we know Jesus, the fullness of His grace and truth will overflow us. When Job said, “Now my eye sees You,” this was the moment he experienced God personally, experiencing an encounter with His person that led Job to the faith that set him free. Job experienced God’s goodness and at the end of Job’s story received a double restoration of all that was lost in his life. Let us know Him personally, not from the hearing of the ear. Let us experience His goodness personally, then we will know that He is a trul...

Transformed Into Ever-Increasing Glory!

2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, with unveiled face beholding in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, just as the Spirit of the Lord comes. Do you long to see God’s transformation in your life? Today, all it takes is one thing—look to Jesus. This is the moment when fear begins to dissolve in His perfect ...

Loved Unconditionally

1 John 3:1 See what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. Therefore the world does not know us because it did not know Him. Did you know that as children of God, we do not have to qualify His love in any way? We are already His beloved. We may feel that we are far from Him, but the Father sees us. He has been watching and waiting for us to come home, ready to run to us to embrace us. He wants to shower His love and kisses on us, over and over again. We do not have to insist on earning the Father’s love. ALL that He has is already ours. He does not ask us to serve Him in order to receive His blessings. ALL that He has is freely and unconditionally given to us. He gave His only Son to die an excruciating death on the cross so that we could receive the fullness of His love. So come. Come to the Father. Come with all our failures, with all our brokenness, and with all our shortcomings. When we realize that we are the obj...

Perfect Care

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, and He will do it. The Father desires for us, His children, to be healthy and whole in every area of our lives. Every part and aspect of life that is important to us is also important to Him. Whether it is for spirit, soul, or body, whatever our need, come to Him with confidence that He who calls us is faithful. He desires to give us peace and provide perfect care for us. Let us approach with confidence that all has been paid for at the cross, and the Father desires for us to be perfectly healthy in our being, so that each day we can eagerly look forward to the promises of God being fulfilled in our lives!

The Lord Your God Is With You

Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you, be strong and take courage? Do not be discouraged or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." When we get the promise that we will always be with God wherever we go, this is a guarantee that we will not be allowed to go astray or perish. So why should we worry? Isn't He God who created everything that exists? Isn't He the Almighty God who loves us so much? When we have this belief, we will continue to move forward strongly, steadfastly, courageously, because we believe that the one who is with us is a great God who loves us so much. And look forward to the victory ahead of you, for this is His promise.

Staying Strong Because of God's Promise

Joshua 14:11 I am as strong today as I was on the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so is my strength now for war and for going in and out. Caleb put all that God had promised him in his heart, his inheritance, when he was forty years old: “I will bring him into the land, and his descendants will inherit it.” Caleb kept God's promise in his heart for forty-five years. Forty-five years later, when Caleb was in the promised land, he was still as strong and healthy as when he received God's promise. When Caleb was eighty-five years old, Caleb said what was in his heart, “Give me the mountain range that the LORD promised me on that day.” Caleb was still young, still strong, and still as strong as he was when Moses sent him to war and to go in and out. What was the secret? Caleb kept God's promise in his heart. He knew that what came out of God's mouth was something that would definitely happen! Even though at that time Caleb was living under the law. Moreover, we...

Keep Hoping!

Zechariah 9:12 Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope! Today I declare to you that I will repay you double! Here the Lord tells us that we were once prisoners without hope, without hope, without help. If we are in a difficult situation, receiving a bad report from the doctor, receiving a bad report about the condition of our company and so on, do not arouse our despair, because our God is a God full of hope. We must be able to see that we actually already have the answer, a confident expectation of good in the future. We have a certain hope that something good will happen. Our future is certainly bright. Because our hope is not like the hope of the world: hopefully, hopefully, I wish, I hope so. We have a God full of hope - our God is the God of Hope. The Bible says that faith is the foundation of everything we hope for because Jesus has shed His blood on the cross. If today we are sick, look at the future where we will have a healthy, strong life, and be able to do what w...

God Who Works in Us, Both Willing and Ability

Philippians 2:13 For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. In the old covenant, the Israelites could not have direct contact with God, they had to go through a representative, namely a prophet or a high priest. But in the new covenant, God has made things easier. In the new covenant, we no longer need to look for a prophet or a high priest to know what His will is, because now He is in us, guiding us with His wisdom and with His love! Because now God works in us to give us the will and the ability to do what is His will!

Speak His Promise, Not Our Anxiety

Matthew 6:31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? What shall we drink? What shall we wear? Worry is something that the enemy most often uses to shake us, making us lose our peace and finally divert our eyes from the work of the cross of Jesus to our own efforts. God knows very well that we are easily anxious. That is why, from the mouth of Jesus Himself He said: do not be anxious. But is that all that Jesus said? The whole sentence says: “Do not be anxious, saying…” When we worry, the most natural thing for us to do is usually to say it with words. When we worry and say things, our problems do not diminish or disappear. If we say things to someone who is not wise, then the possibility is that our problems will actually become bigger. 1 Peter 3:10 says, “Let anyone who wants to see good days keep his tongue and his lips in check.” When anxiety hits us, let us learn not to say bad things. And instead speak God’s promises. Speak His promises according to what we ar...

The Promise Is Ours

Acts 2:39 For the promise is to you and to your children and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Today we belong to Jesus, we are Abraham’s descendants and heirs according to God’s promise. The more we believe we have been justified in Christ, the more we will experience His provision. Becoming heirs of the world and walking in the blessings of health, protection and abundant provision is ours to receive through faith. The point is, even though we do not deserve any blessing from God, because we have been justified by God through the sacrifice and work of His Son, we are qualified to receive all of His blessings! On the cross, Jesus took our sins and gave us His righteousness. So today, we receive all that Jesus has, not because of our works, but by faith. He took our poverty and gave us His abundant riches. He took our shame and gave us His glory. Today, begin walking in the blessings of Abraham because we have been justified by Jesus' finished work o...

God's promise will surely be fulfilled

Acts 7:5 and there God did not give him an inheritance, not even a piece of land, but He promised to give the land to him as his own and his descendants', even though at that time he had no children. Abraham was called out by God without being given anything, no inheritance, not even a foot of land. Just a promise that he and his descendants will own this world. A promise whose value is far more valuable than wealth and inheritance. We can see through the story of Abraham, God continues to keep His promises. Abraham had a very large number of descendants spread throughout the world. Abraham was made very rich by God, and Sarah in her old age was still beautiful and was desired by the kings of the world. Everything was not because of Abraham's actions, but because God had promised and He was bound by His covenant. Aren't we also descendants of Abraham? God is bound by His covenant with us not because of our deeds, but because Jesus died and made us righteous. In the midst o...
