God is the Source of All Our Blessings!
Daniel 4:37 So now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and glorify the King of Heaven, whose works are true and whose ways are just, and who is able to humble the proud. In the book of Daniel there is a king named Nebuchadnezzar. The Bible tells us that one day Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and Daniel interpreted it. The gist of Nebuchadnezzar's dream was that Nebuchadnezzar would grow bigger and stronger.
But what happened? Nebuchadnezzar exalted himself. Nebuchadnezzar did not give glory to God. As a result, for 7 years, Nebuchadnezzar was exiled from humans, living among animals and eating grass.
After seven years had passed, Nebuchadnezzar looked up to heaven, his mind returned, and Nebuchadnezzar praised, exalted, and glorified God. When Nebuchadnezzar realized and immediately admitted that heaven had power not because of its greatness and power but heaven, what happened? Nebuchadnezzar was immediately restored. His power returned, his greatness returned, Nebuchadnezzar sat back on his throne with greater glory. All glory, all honor and all praise be to God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.
