Jesus Meets Us Where We Are in Faith

 Mark 5:28 For she said, “If I touch just His garment, I will be healed.” Have we ever thought about how the edge of Jesus’ garment could have the power to heal a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years? If it is true that Jesus’ garment could heal, then the existence of that garment would be something very valuable in this day and age. The truth is, it was not Jesus’ garment that healed, but when this woman said, “If I touch just His garment, I will be healed,” then Jesus would come down to the woman’s level of faith and heal her when she touched His garment. Each of us has a different level of faith. But what is amazing is that it is not our level of faith that determines, but rather the Person of Jesus who is willing to meet us at whatever level of faith we are at. Never should we think that in order to be healed we must have perfect faith that has never been shaken. Once again, it is not our faith that is the measure. Jesus is ready to meet us wherever our faith is. Amen!

The Power of Words

 Mark 11:20-21 Early in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. Peter remembered what had happened and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed is dried up.” In Mark 11:14, the Lord Jesus cursed a fig tree. He simply said, “May no one eat fruit from you ever again!” and the next day, the tree dried up from the roots. How powerful words are! Notice, when the Lord cursed the tree, it did not immediately appear to die. It was only the next day that the tree appeared to have dried up from the roots. Why was that? In the NKJV, verse 20 says, “the fig tree dried up from the roots.” From the roots. When the Lord spoke to the tree, death immediately occurred! It just wasn’t visible because the death occurred from the roots and wasn’t visible in the leaves. At the Highest and Lowest Points

 Matthew 3:16-17 After being baptized, Jesus immediately came up from the water and at that moment the heavens opened and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove on Him, then a voice came from heaven saying: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
