Jesus, Our High Priest!

 Hebrews 10:21 and we have a high priest at the head of the house of God. We have a High Priest. Remember carefully, since God gave the Israelites a High Priest, God judged the Israelites based on the existence of their High Priest. As was the existence of the High Priest, such was the case with his people.

If the high priest is good, then God will bless the nation of Israel. If the high priest is bad, then bad will happen to his people. If the High Priest who enters the holy place can come out safely, then throughout the year what happens to his people will be blessings, good health, and no enemies.

That's why Jewish tradition says that when a high priest entered the Holy of Holies, his feet would be tied with ropes so that he could be pulled out if he died inside.

Hebrews 4:14 says that Jesus is our High Priest. Is Jesus good? Yes! Was Jesus pleased with God? Yes! So as Jesus was, so will happen to us. In our High Priest, Jesus Christ, our portion is God's blessing, health, provision and favor!

The Power of Words

 Mark 11:20-21 Early in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. Peter remembered what had happened and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed is dried up.” In Mark 11:14, the Lord Jesus cursed a fig tree. He simply said, “May no one eat fruit from you ever again!” and the next day, the tree dried up from the roots. How powerful words are! Notice, when the Lord cursed the tree, it did not immediately appear to die. It was only the next day that the tree appeared to have dried up from the roots. Why was that? In the NKJV, verse 20 says, “the fig tree dried up from the roots.” From the roots. When the Lord spoke to the tree, death immediately occurred! It just wasn’t visible because the death occurred from the roots and wasn’t visible in the leaves. At the Highest and Lowest Points

 Matthew 3:16-17 After being baptized, Jesus immediately came up from the water and at that moment the heavens opened and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove on Him, then a voice came from heaven saying: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
